Breaking Winter Camp with My Four Wheel Camper

S
Got it dialed in with the trailer and FWC, that was the goal with the decision for the snowmobile trailer. It gives me the space and another large cargo door out the front. By adding wall hooks it separates my outer clothing and airs out the clothing. With the helmet cabinet everything is segregated and items are not misplaced.

Something about night in the winter forest. With proper gear and lights it expands my hours of the day. As I start the 2 mile drive on the forest road, I have a goal of 2 1/2 hours of driving to arrive at my destination. This night it is a wayside that is quiet and I can finish my drive back to the metro rear in the morning.

Winter Polaris RZR Ridin’

Catching the cold clear winter moonlight, -9 for 2 nights in a row. This winter camping and exploring with the RZR on the forest roads is awesome. It was the real deal this trip, daytime temps in the single digits, overnight -9.

The challenge is to adapt to the sub zero weather and testing the clothing. There’s warm clothes and there’s warm wind proof combinations.

Kinda remote so I’ve got the Forest to myself. Definitely learning the limits of my gear and the ability to function while I’m performing my daily tasks.

A Tale of 2 Stealth Trailers / Colorado Mountain Storm Memorial Day 2020

My former 2017 Stealth Cargo Toy Hauler.
My new 2020 Stealth brand Predator Snowmobile Trailer.

A bit of flashback to Memorial Day in the mountains west of Winter Park, Colorado. I have since traded the trailer I had back then.

The trailer in the video was a Stealth brand 7x18’ cargo toy hauler. I traded that trailer for a Stealth brand 7.5x21’ snowmobile trailer. The new trailer is 2000 pounds lighter at 1800 pounds. I wanted the front ramp door along with rear ramp door. My trailer payload is 7000 pounds. Right now with my RZR and gear it weighs about 4800 pounds.
